Meet the chef

Hi, I’m Kisha, Executive Chef, and Food Story Teller. Let's create an experience you and your guest will never forget.

 

I received my formal culinary training at Stratford University where I earned a dual bachelor’s degree in Advanced Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management.

 

As a competitive chef, you may find me battling it out in a kitchen near you. Multiple top 10 finishes in the World Food Championships in the Burger Category, Recipe Category, and Vegetarian Category. Also multiple 1st place and best in division wins for my Southern Sweet Lime Pound Cake Recipe, cupcake designs and tastings at the National Capital Area Cake Show. Don’t let my sweetness fool you, I can still get saucy in the kitchen and I took home the Grand Prize at the Mid-Atlantic Chili Challenge with Riunite Wine to prove it!

 

You may have even caught me as a competitor on the Food Network’s show Fakers vs Bakers Brownie Points episode! As well as seen on the WFC Film TV doing Winning Recipes or Quick Recipes, showcasing for VIP.

Along with numerous accolades and awards, I do consulting for restaurants, chefs, and businesses. Everything from menu development, recipe execution, and plating techniques.

I'm also the Founder of a non-profit organization called Cookzcreed Foundation, helping chefs and hospitality individuals get the support they need on their culinary journey. Some outside the kitchen accolades include:
